Job Aid The human performance problem addressed with this job aid is the knowledge gap in online social networking for my selected audience. The audience's experience with this subject is at the basic level (email, websites, possibly blogs), though it is highly likely that they know something about the subject due to the large amount of media coverage. The fact that there is only a small gap in the learner’s knowledge makes a Due to the one-page limitation, it is possible that some of the visuals may not be large enough. Additionally, it may not go into enough detail on how to go about setting up a profile and adding friends or connections, etc. It is assumed that the user will know how to use the help information provided by LinkedIn and Facebook. The job aid does follow some of the principles laid out by Kosslyn (1993), using color to differentiate between the two different types of social networking sites. Also, the use of a typographical hierarchy helps the reader easily grasp the organization of the job aid.
